Formerly known as Altenergy Solar was founded in 2005 as a small operation in a garage in Charlottesville, Virginia. It later partnered with Tiger Solar, combining local expertise and a dedication to providing high-quality services while investing in its workforce, equipment, and long-term sustainability. In 2021, Altenergy Solar rebranded itself as Tiger Solar and relocated to a larger facility to better support its growing business. Over the last 17 years, the Charlottesville location has completed over 600 projects. They also have nearby offices in Staunton, VA, and Washington, D.C. to collaborate with.
