Introducing Made in Charlottesville: A New Initiative to Showcase Local Artists & Artisans
Charlottesville Insider is launching “Made in Charlottesville,” a curated platform designed to showcase, support, and sell locally made art and handmade goods online and in person at our downtown office.
Why We’re Launching Made in Charlottesville
At Charlottesville Insider, we believe in celebrating the people and stories that make our city unique. Local artists and makers pour their passion into their craft, creating work that reflects our community's beauty, history, and soul. However, finding the right spaces to share, promote, and sell that work can be a challenge. That’s where Made in Charlottesville comes in.
With this initiative, we aim to:
✅ Provide a platform for local artists to showcase and sell their work
✅ Increase visibility for Charlottesville’s vibrant creative community
✅ Support makers by offering a dedicated retail and online space
✅ Foster connections between artists, buyers, and the greater community
Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for artists and artisans based in Charlottesville and the surrounding area who create handmade, original work, including but not limited to:
- Painting & Illustration
- Sculpture & Ceramics
- Jewelry & Metalwork
- Woodworking & Furniture
- Textiles & Fiber Art
- Photography & Mixed Media
